Over the last 7 years, Joyalukkas Foundation has been continuously conducting medical camps in remote villages across South India. Free medications, spectacles, cataract surgeries and funding for expensive treatments are offered during the medical camps.
As part of its continued commitment towards better healthcare, Joyalukkas Foundation actively conducts medical charity camps. Over 1000 Dialysis Kits are distributed every month for economically challenged renal patients.
To raise awareness about diabetes, Joyalukkas organized distribution of over 400 Diabetes Awareness Kits. The initiative was conducted in conjunction with Type One Diabetic Welfare Society and Jyothi Dev Diabetic Hospital and Research Center.
Joyalukkas Foundation renovated 5 wards at the medical college. The wards were hygienically cleansed and thoroughly cleaned. Furniture was polished, flooring tiles were replaced and new mattresses were provided.
Enabling access to basic facilities makes a lot of difference and Joyalukkas Foundation constructed a new restroom at the Cancer Block of Government Medical College in Thrissur. Additional renovation works include renovating a ward and restoration of an AC in the ICU.
Joyalukkas Foundation donated an Ambulance to Tejomaya De Addiction Center in Mysuru. The key to the ambulance was handed over to Fr. Jinto Thomas, Director of Tejomaya De Addiction Center.
Joyalukkas Foundation generously contributed to the renovation works by supplying furniture and installing Bronchoscopy machines and Mammograms.
A hygienic makeover was initiated by Joyalukkas Foundation at St. Joseph Mental Care Home. Necessary measures were taken to get rid of bed bugs, floor and wall tiles were replaced and new coatings of paint were applied. The complete project was finished within a month’s time
