Joyalukkas Foundation Extends ₹2 Lakh Support to Ashraya Charitable Society for Shelter Roofing Project

Coimbatore: Continuing its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities, the Joyalukkas Foundation extended financial assistance to Ashraya Charitable Society, a shelter home run by the Sisters of Charity that provides care and protection to 130 orphaned girls in Bommanampalayam.
In addition to ensuring quality education and comfortable living facilities, the institution recently undertook the construction of structural roofing to enhance the safety and security of senior girls above the age of 18. Facing a shortfall of ₹2 lakhs to complete the project, Sr. Paduva, Secretary of Ashraya Charitable Society, approached the Foundation for support.
Responding promptly to the request, the Joyalukkas Foundation sanctioned and issued a cheque of ₹2 lakhs to help complete the roofing work, thereby contributing to a safer and more secure living environment for the residents.
In the photograph, Mr. Rion, Branch-in-Charge of the Joyalukkas Coimbatore branch, is seen handing over the cheque to Sr. Paduva. Also present were Mr. Xavi Kurian and Mr. Raphy T.J., Branch-in-Charges of the 100 Feet Road and Oppanakara Street branches respectively.
This initiative reflects the Foundation’s continued dedication to uplifting underprivileged children and strengthening institutions that provide them with care, protection, and opportunities for a brighter future.
