AUGMENTED ICU UNIT IN GOVT. MEDICAL COLLEGE THRISSUR
On request from the Medical College, Joyalukkas Foundation rushed into action ,tightened up the belt to fight the pandemic. Foundation offered to Augment the ICU facility with all the required furniture, various instruments, ventilators etc. Within one month the new ICU unit was ready and the inauguration was done on Saturday 19th June '21.Hon. Minister, Sri K. Rajan in his inaugural address referred to the several charity initiatives of the Foundation and lauded the willingness to serve and also to spare funds. In the new initiative.
Foundation has spent Rs. 53 lakhs for setting up the new ICU unit which was an immediate need. Dr. Lola Das ,Principal-in-Charge, presided over the function. Prof. Dr.Unnikrishnan and Dr.Randeep, RMO, spoke on the occasion. Foundation Chief Coordinator Sri.P.P.Jose welcomed the audience and Dr. Nisha Das, Deputy Supt. thanked the audience. Hardly one month back our Chairman Sri. Joy Alukkas had handed over a cheque to Dr. Biju Krishnan, Supt. in a humble function conducted at Principals office.
