FREE MEGA MEDICAL CAMP AT THALORE
Joyalukkas Foundation, in association with Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, conducted a Mega Medical Camp at Thalore. It was a local prayer group.
" Getsemni' that took the initiative to conduct the camp at Deepthi High School on Sunday 18th Oct 2015. The camp was very lively a 50 member medical team from Amala and an 100 and odd local volunteers and was inaugurated by Rev Fr .Francis Kurissery, Director Amala Hospital in a function chaired by Fr. Paul Kozhipattu C M I., Mr. P P Jose, Chief Coordinator also spoke on the occasion.
950 patients attended the camp. Out of the several patients who visited Ophthalmology Dept, 100 nos will be given spectacles free of cost by the Joyalukkas Foundation. Besides, Foundation will provide financial support for the deserving camp patients for advance treatments and surgery. All patients needed medicine were it free. All clinical examinations were also free of cost.
