THINK PINK Breast Cancer awareness Programme
Joyalukkas Foundation organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Programme for the benefit of the teachers and the parents of the students of Govt Model Girls High school, Thrissur and the senior students on Saturday 31st OCT 2015. It was Sr. Dr. Catherine, Asst. Professor, Amala Medical College, who lead the interactive session, The participants very actively took part in the session and clarified their doubts. They also shared their gratitude for such an opportunity for providing awareness about Breast cancer.
There was a simple inaugural function prior to the lively interactive session which was chaired by The PTA President Dr. Prakash Babu. The seminar was formally inaugurated by Smt. Subhavathy, Circle Inspector, East Police Station, Thrissur. School Principal, Sri V.C Muraleedharan welcomed the gathering. Sri P.P.Jose.Chief Coordinator ,Joyalukkas Foundation and Sri Sumesh, Mall Manager, Mall of Joy spoke on the occasion. Mrs. Dhanya Joseph, Programme Officer of School, NSS thanked the audience.
Mr.Joseph Christo, DGM ,HR presented a Water Purifier to the school which was not having a drinking water facility.
